FAQ

What does Starship show?

Live prices, total market cap, 24-hour volume, Bitcoin and Ethereum dominance, Fear & Greed, Altseason, and a Market Bias score.

How often does it update?

Every two minutes. If a data provider is unavailable, the last good snapshot stays on screen until it recovers.

How is the Fear & Greed change calculated?

We subtract the previous reading from the current one. If a reading is missing, the change isn’t shown.

Is Starship a trading platform?

No. Starship is for information only. It doesn’t offer trading, custody, wallets or investment advice.

What changes between 24h and 7d?

Each card’s performance, chart, price range and RSI switch to the chosen period. Top Gainers and Top Losers always use 24 hours.

How are Top Gainers and Top Losers chosen?

We rank every tracked asset with 24-hour data and show the three strongest and three weakest. Search and watchlist filters don’t change the ranking.

What does RSI mean?

RSI measures recent price momentum on a scale from 0 to 100. Readings of 70 or higher are overbought, 30 or lower are oversold, and anything between is neutral. It describes momentum, not where price goes next.

How is Market Bias calculated?

A 0–100 score built from how many assets are rising, 24-hour and 7-day momentum (larger assets count more), total market-cap change, and Fear & Greed. Outliers are trimmed, and below 70% data coverage the score is marked provisional. 60 or higher is bullish, 40 or lower is bearish, and anything between is neutral. It describes current conditions, not a forecast.
